Tell us more about who you are and what you do!
My name is Lucy Lopez and I’m a fashion and lifestyle creator based in Los Angeles. My content is rooted in capsule wardrobe styling, minimal fashion, and clean beauty. I also create UGC for brands, blending storytelling and elevated visuals that align with their aesthetic. Everything I do is about making style feel thoughtful, effortless, and personal.
We love your Day in the Life videos on tiktok - how did you get started with content creation?
Thank you! It started really naturally. Back in college, during the early days of blogging, I found myself so drawn to that space from the styling to the way these bloggers shared their lives through a visual lens. I interned at companies that worked with bloggers and always looked for ways to be part of the creative process, whether it was assisting at photoshoot or curating organic content. Later, I worked in influencer marketing, and while I loved building campaigns from the brand side, a part of me always knew I wanted to be the one creating. So I started creating on weekends, treating content as my side hustle for a couple of years. This year I finally took the leap and went full-time and I’ve been loving it!
How would you describe your personal style and what was the journey like to develop your personal style?
Minimal, timeless, and effortless. Over time, I started valuing quality over quantity choosing pieces I knew I could wear again and again. I used to chase trends and would resell things after just one wear, until I finally asked myself “what do I actually love to wear?” That shift changed everything. Now, I build my wardrobe around well-made, versatile pieces that feel good and feel like me.

What was it that brought you to Los Angeles and what are your 3 favorite things about living in the city?
I am lucky enough to be born and raised in LA. It’s a city that’s shaped so much of who I am — from the culture to the creative energy. I love how every neighborhood has its own personality, and you’re constantly discovering something new. My three favorite things about living here are the endless opportunities, the constant inspiration, and being close to my family.
Describe your perfect day in LA! What would you do, where would you eat, what are you wearing?
A perfect day in LA starts with an early morning hike at Runyon, followed by an Iced NOLA and chocolate croissant from Blue Bottle. I’d spend the late morning visiting an art gallery or exploring a case study house. Lunch would be sandwiches from Ggiata, or I’d end the day with a romantic dinner at Pace in Laurel Canyon. I’d be wearing my daily uniform which is a crisp button-down, relaxed pants, vintage sunglasses, and sandals — something easy, minimal, and polished.

Getting dressed for the summer in LA sounds hard, what are some of your best tips for dressing for the heat while maintaining some personality in your outfits?
I grew up in the San Fernando Valley so I’ve definitely learned how to dress for the heat. I love an all-white outfit or an airy summer dress that I can throw on with minimal effort but still feel put together. I usually pair everything with simple sandals to keep it chic. Recently I’ve been incorporating more fun accessories to my outfits by wearing pendant necklaces or a fun colored vintage bag.
How do you feel living in LA has impacted your personal style and creativity?
Living in LA has given me the freedom to express my style without overthinking it. Everyone here has such a distinct sense of style and creativity. It inspires me and makes it feel natural to dress in a way that feels true to me.
With summer quickly approaching, what are some trends you're excited to style in the upcoming months?
I’m so excited to start dressing for summer. Trends I’ve been loving are seashell accessories, lace details, and silk scarves especially styled over the head or tied at the waist. These pieces instantly make any outfit feel more elevated.

What advice would you give someone looking to get started as a full-time creator?
Start now even if you don’t feel ready. I spent so much time giving myself reasons not to start and was worried that no one would care about my content. That couldn’t be further from the truth. I wish I had started sooner, because this has been the most exciting and fulfilling chapter of my life. The opportunities that have come from simply showing up and sharing my perspective have been incredible and I’m so excited to keep growing in this space.
Are there other areas of your life that you enjoy expressing yourself artistically outside of social media?
I’m really into interiors and curating spaces that feel intentional. I love designing my home, going to estate sales, browsing furniture stores, and just admiring good design. I’m also constantly reading about designers, architects, and the history behind iconic spaces. It's one of my favorite ways to stay inspired outside of fashion.
How are you styling your JBD jeans this spring?
I love pairing my JBD jeans with a boxy white tee or a flowy black scoop neck tank. I’ll usually add a printed belt or a vintage touch to give the look a bit of personality.
